Antonella Orlandi I was born in Livorno on July 17th, 1956. I hold a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature. I am very passionate about two things: my familiy and travelling. And of course China! I have become fascinated with its language and culture, and I am always in between two continents. I worked in the tourism sector for over thirty years, organizing tourist and business trips all over the world. I have created special projects on travel to and from China, both for pleasure and for work. I am never tired of learning, and I have followed training courses on sales, marketing, human resources management, as well as a Master of Chinese Law, Internationalization and Development of New Markets. I am in charge of the commercial sector of 8doors CCS.
Elisa Mereghetti I was born in Milan on March 8th, 1959. I have lived in the US for 7 years, working in the New York bureau of RAI, National Italian television, as a producer. That was in the Eighties... Since then I have toured the whole world, always looking for new experiences and new languages. In 1995 I founded ETHNOS, a TV production company, with which I have produced hundreds of documentaries and TV programs. Together with my colleagues Marco Mensa and Beba Gabanelli we have created 8doors, a web TV dedicated to the promotion of made in Italy for a Chinese audience. From there to 8doors China Communication Service... it’s a small step. In this new adventure I become a producer once again, to work on the company’s management.
Alessandra Pingi I was born in Naples on June 10th, 1975. I graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature at the Istituto Universitario Orientale of Naples in the year 2000. Following my passions I moved to China in the same year, where I worked as Overseas relation manager, interpreter and translator for the companies Lavazza and Saeco. In 2007 I came back to Italy, where I have collaborated with the city of Gaggio Montano holding courses of Chinese language, and I have worked as a private teacher, translator and interpreter, recognized by the Chamber of Commerce and the Bologna Courthouse. For 8doorsCCS I am responsible of translation, interpreting, legal and commercial consultancies.
Mirka Strano I was born in Varese on October 17th, 1983. I graduated in Cultural and Linguistic Mediation at the Università Statale in Milan in 2006. The passion for Chinese language and culture prompted me to move to Beijing, where I lived for 6 months. Back in Italy, I participated in the creation of a toursim department geared towards China. In 2008 I came back to live in China. I now work in Shanghai as Deputy Renewals Manager of an important insurance broker. My life and work experience in China and the daily study of data, analysis, procedures and business strategies strenghtened my technical skills to operate efficiently and productively on the Chinese market.
